Owner-led SME · UK & India
A live 10-dimension readiness baseline
An owner-led textiles and trading house across the UK and India, with a ten-person leadership group.
The operation.
An owner-led textiles and trading house operating across the UK and India, with a leadership group of around ten. Processes work but live in people's heads.
UK-India coordination is a known friction point, and the Microsoft 365 estate sits mostly unused. Keen, curious, and honest about being behind.
The brief.
Two halves with a partner facilitator. First, a readiness diagnostic scored live by the room across ten dimensions. Then the practical half: turn low scores into appetite, and appetite into a plan.
What we did.
The diagnostic was unsparing. Most dimensions landed between 1.5 and 2.8 out of 5. So the practical session anchored on the tools they already own.
We showed quick wins in Microsoft 365, real agent examples, and a culture frame for how adoption actually spreads in a hierarchical SME. A lot is possible immediately, and the bigger orchestration can wait.
What the room walked away with.
- A readiness baseline the whole room can see and own.
- Concrete quick wins on tools they already pay for.
- A focused first-90-days plan with candidate owners.
- A path to recurring, profession-specific sessions.
We were enthusiastic about AI but unsure where to begin. The session gave our leadership team an honest picture of where we are today, demonstrated practical opportunities using tools we already have and gave us a clear starting point.

Methodology
Scores were captured live via a ten-question instrument. They are a self-reported snapshot, not an audit.
